A face we all will remeber

Abraham Lincoln, watching a play with his wife, was shot by John Wilkes Booth, he was a man we all will remember as a man of justice, he fought for equality among Americans. Born in Kentucky, he lived a hard life of constant battles to unify a country. He will be buried in Oak Ridge after a procession he will have in various states.

Conferate army with their skills

could achieve a thousand kills

The Civil War

During the Civil War, Brady and his associates traveled throughout the eastern part of the country, capturing the effects of the War through photographs of people, towns, and battlefields. Additionally, Brady kept studios in Washington, DC and New York City, where many influential politicians and war heroes sat for portraits. 

In the picture we can appreciate a division in the civil war, camping on their territory, they look very calmed compared to the danger they are living constantly. We can see that they have primitive gun weapons and don't have a strong protection against bullets more than leather outfits, but then again they are not there to take care of their lives, the are there to defend in what they believe. Mathew Brady is in the same danger as they are, taking pictures in the battlefield

Mathew Brady was the first to undertake the photographic documentation of the American Civil War. Brady was almost killed at Bull Run, VA. He got lost for three days and eventually wound up in Washington D.C., nearly dead from starvation. Film maker Ken Burns who is famous for his television series "The Civil War" (1990), said his Civil War series could not have been made if it were not for Mathew Brady's photographs.
